How to wire a single hum?

Bought a single humbucker 9Custom/59) hybrid from Kaetu a while ago. It doesn't seem to have 4 leads from it like a 4 conducter pup? Where do I wire the 2 leads? Is there a wiring diagram anywhere? Also what about a Custom Custom? Is there a wiring diagram for one of these?

Thanks

For your hybrid follow this diagram:

The braid gets soldered to the back of the volume pot.

For the Custom Custom follow this diagram:
http://www.seymourduncan.com/website/support/schematics/1hum_1vol.html
Black = hot
Green and bare = ground
Red and white = solder together and cover with tape

Granted these may not match your entire wiring scheme but you'll see what wires go where.

The first link shows a diagram of a neck and bridge hum being wired to a volume and tone? I need a diagram for a single hum which is a Custom/59 hybrid cionnected to a volume pot. The second link will work for the custom custom, but I need a similar diagram for the hybrid pup which has fewer wires from it - I think it has just one wire in braid?

I want to make sure I'm clear - are we talking about two different guitars, each with a single humbucker?

If so, just use the second link, but ignore the red and white wires, (since you don't have them.) Your outside braid goes to any ground - like the back of a pot, and the inner wire goes to where the black wire in that diagram goes. (The lug of the volume control.)

Hope that helps.
