How true is this Ebay listing?

Re: How true is this Ebay listing?

FWIW, I've never heard of anything like that before, probably is making it up to try and sell a crappy pickup for much more than it's worth. IIRC, Might Mite pickups were pretty bad.

Re: How true is this Ebay listing?

it doesn't smell good... Too enthusiastic. I have visited Harmony-Central and the model doesn't appears there.

Re: How true is this Ebay listing?

Far as I know that is all true. I think the closest thing to it these days would be the StagMag but Evan could probably comment better on that.

Re: How true is this Ebay listing?

The part about it being a guitar pickup? That part's true! :smack:

The rest, I don't think is.

I doubt Seymour ever worked for Mighty Mite...

seymour never worked at or for mighty mite :smack:
that is NOT a duncan by any means

Re: How true is this Ebay listing?

Wattage, why would you think what the Ebay listing says is all true?

Re: How true is this Ebay listing?

I don't know if I believe that Seymour worked at the Mighty Mite factory, but it wouldn't really surprise me (everyone's got to start somewhere and Mighty Mite was at one time a really great custom shop). Mighty Mite DID create a pickup called a Superstud, so it's not a Duncan piece.

Re: How true is this Ebay listing?

Did Mighty Mite get bought out or something along the way? Wasn't George Lynchs and EVH's main axes built from Mighty Mite parts? Wha hoppened? Go to Mighty Mite now and they sell cheap import stuff.
