Mojotone wiring kit. Grovers, gotoh bridge and alum tp. Pickups of choice
Cream plastics.

Re: How would you hot rod this???

Dunno about pups, that's a more personal thing. But gold hardware on blue is super sexy. Do it.

Re: How would you hot rod this???

All that and gold pickup mounting rings, gold covers for the pickups and I'd take off the pickguard. And add a Les Paul Royal engraved truss rod cover to confuse anyone interested .

Re: How would you hot rod this???

Cream and blue are sexy

Gold is a bit too " rich " for me
I vote chrome

Re: How would you hot rod this???

Gotoh Chrome TOM and tailpiece, Gotoh keystone tuners, cream pickup rings and switch tip (no ring), traditional wiring (w/ no-load tone pots), amber speed knobs, WLH pickup set (reverse zebra bridge / zebra neck).

Re: How would you hot rod this???

Take off the pickguard and do a ****ty black spray over so every ding thereafter shows the blue underneath. Chrome hardware with a TP-6. Crusty nickel covers on whatever pickups. Black speed knobs. Win.

Re: How would you hot rod this???

I would put dowels in the tailpiece holes, rout it for a Kahler and spray the beast something cool, maybe Candy Apple Red. After that I would put in some high output pickups, locking tuners and rock the hell out of it.

Re: How would you hot rod this???

I'm not a humbucker aficionado, but I have it on very good authority a JB in the bridge and something A2 in the neck works great in Mahjongany!

I presume Kahler hardtail?

I think a monotone blue theme would be uber-cool!

Re: How would you hot rod this???

Definitely drop a kahler on that. Then go with a Super D in the neck and an X2N in the bridge.

Sans, that - if you can't do it with a JB, you can't do it.

yea a combination of these

CAR over Blue and while its wet
drag your fingers over it to reveal the blue
then clear to make that stay

Black chrome hardware

59 and Custom 5

edit
come to think of it
if you stripe the top side with one pass of your four fingers
and then put amber speed knobs

you end up with a reverse Flag

'59N's can be boomy in LP's, I'd put an A4 in it and wire the neck for spin-a-split; gives you a big tonal palette. I'd put an A8 in the Custom.
