HS wiring...

I’ve ordered a JB bridge and an STK-S6 neck for an upcoming Warmoth Tele build...Alder body, roasted flame maple neck and fingerboard, Hipshot hardtail.

I’ll probably go with a 3-way switch, 1 vol, 1 push-pull tone to coil split the JB...unless there’s a way I can have the switching options with a 4/5-way pickup switch. I’m confined to a Tele control plate with an angled switch so I wouldn’t be able to fit a normal “super” switch, but I might be able to fit one of the Ibanez Cor Tek switches.

I’d like to at least have:
Neck
Neck and bridge
Neck and split bridge
Split bridge
Bridge humbucker

I may like to experiment with parallel bridge, but I’m not finding any wiring diagrams for the HS pickup configuration.

I'd say just put a standard three-way in and put a push/pull pot for the coil split. There is not really a good way to put those options on a switch without any weird jumps between the positions. I like to keep my switches so that they have a smooth transition of tone from neck to bridge, with all jumps in output being on the outer positions of the switch. With this wiring scheme you can't have both.

Definetly experiment..I like the JB in parallel. Its possible to get some interesting sounds with an HS. Some years ago I put together for someone a HS Tele with a mini on-0n-on betweem the pots giving split/parallel/series for the bridge, an OOP push pull tone pot and a stock strat 5 way giving a series option.Lots of usuable interesting sounds including OOP in series and half OOP.

I agree with Christopher on the simplicity of just putting a push pull.

In that situation I would personally try to use a 4 way and I think you could get neck, n+b split, b, b split. But that because I personally don't care for the N+b sound.

You can also do an S1 push/push switch instead of a push/pull. While more expensive, the ergonomics are much better.
