Would a Seymour Duncan SH8 Invader in the bridge, a Di Marzio DP416 Area 67 in the middle and a Seymour Duncan SH1 59 in the neck position , in an HSH Strat style guitar work well together? I have no idea about this stuff but that sounds to me like a very flexible setup

Possibly. IMO a different bridge pickup might be better, though. You can always add more dirt with a pedal etc., but you can't add more clarity, so the Invader might not work for some less aggressive genres. A cooler wind, in the "vintage hot" range might be better if versatility is what you're after, e.g.:

Transition
Air Norton
Perpetual Burn
Pegasus
Custom/59 hybrid

Yeah, I will second the doubts on the Invader being super flexible. It depends on the rest of the signal chain and what sort of tones you like though.

If you like the look of the Invader, maybe an Invader neck model at the bridge would be an option. More clarity and top end, but still has the look and can get dirty with the right amp.

I'm into (trying) to play everything from Deicide to The Beatles that's why I thought an Invader might work for the metal tones the Di Marzio for the cleaner stuff and the 59 for classic rock and bluesy stuff. Any suggestions on pickups to cover as much of that as possible would be greatly appreciated

For balls out as well as clarity I find Black Winter bridge brilliant. It also cleans up well. I'm still undecided about the BW neck, it feels like it has great potential to sound great clean, but for some reasons I can't bond with it. In fact, I'll try the set in another guitar today which sounds rather dark. But the BW bridge is the sh1t3.

The Invader does essentially 1 thing, so it isn't very versatile in normal series operation. A series/ parallel switch helps things greatly.
