Hi everyone! My first attempt to upgrade my cheap Samick Interceptor guitar, to see how far it be improved
. I have HSS pickup arrangement like a Superstrat, 5 way switch. Bridge: Gibson 498T, Middle: SD Duckbucker (SBDR-1n), Neck: SD JB Jr. (SJBJ-1n).
I've checked the SD wiring database already and found 2 similar configuration. The only items that I want to add are:
1. a switch that can split ALL my HB to operate as single coil. I don't mind using push/pull or SPDT switches, if that's eaiser approach.
Example: I am in bridge or neck position HB, I flip a switch and viola= single coil.
2. Is there a switch to switch between pots? Example I am using 500K for HB, If I hit a switch to single coil mode- also automatically moves me to a 250K pot?
My #2 query maybe is just me imagining I don't know if such wiring type exist or necessary- but my #1- I really hope you can lead me to a good path.
