HSS pickups to go with a dimebucker

Hey everyone I just bought a cheap Jackson and I'm looking to replace the pickups on it... I have a Dimebucker for the bridge I need two more pickups in an HSS configuration. Any suggestions?

Are you looking for true singles or are Stacks & S.C. seized Railbuckers on the table too?

Anythings on the table... Leaning more towards single sized humbuckers though

I think Hot Rails would be the best option here–high output to match the Dimebucker (although I did have a Dimebucker paired with a moderate output Screamin Demon and it worked well) and should add warmth where the Dimebucker is more clear and bright...and it should look awesome being all rails! :headbang:

Maybe Hot Rails neck (though it will be much darker than the Dimebucker) and, Cool Rails for the middle for an actual open, clear, scoopy sound.

cool rails might be even better, but i never owned one

Cool Rails is a good choice too, as it sort of has the same EQ as a Jazz humbucker. It really depends on what kinds of sounds you want from the neck and middle.

With the rails design of the dome butter, having two rails pick ups might go well with that. For a true single coil, you could go to vintage rails in the middle, and a cool rails at the neck. That is what I would do.

Or two cool rails in the neck and middle.

I do think that the dimebucker is going to be really bright sounding, and hot rails will be darker sounding in the neck. My intuition tells me that you would have a hard time finding a good EQ on your amplification that would work with both of those pick ups in those positions.

Hey, throwing my two cents in ....

I agree with keeping the general aesthetics of the guitar more inline with the use of the rail single coil pickups, but if you don't care about the cosmetics, you have a LOT more options for tone choices if you decide to incorporate pickups with the single coil sized mini humbucker variants ...

Definitely something worth considering?
