HSS: TB6 and...

Hello,
I'm Bruno, I work and live in Italy.
Sorry in advance for my very very poor English!
Ok, let's go: what pickups do you recommend me to a balanced combo (hss 1V,1T) with my TB6?
I sound a little bit of everything: from Dire Straits to U2 through Van Halen... (I wrote I play? :smack: Sorry, I *try* to play... )
Now I've 2 fender american single coil (stock in strat american series). Ok, honest pups but I'd like something more

Leave the one you have in the middle and get something like the Little 59 or Hot Rails for the neck. You will still be able to get Dire Straits kinds of sounds with a setup like that but the hotter neck pickup will sound better for playing leads.

hey Bruno! Welcome!
Im not much of a single coil guy. so, I wont throw a bunch of worthless ideas at you. But let me ask a question that will help others help you.
Varg had a great idea. Are you wanting to keep a single coil tone in the neck (looking for a better single coil?) or are you wanting a beefier pup for leads ?
i just wondered Cuz for Dire straits type stuff, you may want to keep singles.
If you want beef and singing leads, the lil 59 would be sweet..

x Neck/middle I thought about something fat, but alway singolcoil. Like SSL-4T
Besides, Knopfler also used Schecter Monster Tone F500T (like Duncan SSL-4t... or not?)
