HSS with push/pull

Undertone

I found this diagram for an HSS with a series/parallel option. When the switch is down, I don't get the full DC resistance of my Pearly Gates. Is there something wrong with the diagram or with me?

Can you tell us what DCR you are getting? Are you measuring it in circuit, aka, with vol / tone pots in the circuit?

DC from the output jack is 6.28 (switch is down). DC from pickup (through sector switch) to the push/pull is 8.38. Do you think it's a bad push/pull or just wired to the wrong terminal?

Also, when pulled up the DC is also 6.28

It should be full resistance in series
and one quarter of that in parallel

Yours doesn't change up or down
I vote for mis wired

Are you using a Duncan pickup or the one that came with

If it is a Duncan which one

If its not then we need to translate the wire colors from Duncan in the drawing to whatever you have

Assuming the wire colors are correct, it can only be a bad p/p switch or something wrong with the wiring/soldering (most likely a stray single wire touching something it shouldn't).

Could you take a couple close up very clear picks of the wiring to the p/p for us.
