I'm in the market for a new tube amp. I've been playing a Marshall AVT 150 combo with a 2x12 marshall cab. I'm probably going to get rid of the AVT and keep the cab to use with a head.
Does anyone here have a H&K Switchblade? I've heard they sound really good even though they have a digital preamp. I think Guitar player liked them too.
Thoughts?
I think I'm going to go with one of the more versatile amps. I might end up with a DSL, but I doubt it. I think the Carvin V3 and the H&K Switchblade are my two top choices right now, then the Carvin Legacy.
