Hum cancelling single coil

Hey All,

Just looking for some suggestions for a good hum cancelling single coil for middle and neck. I have a J.B. jr in the bridge, but want that traditional single coil tone in middle and neck. I need something hot enough to balance the output of the J.B. Jr. Any suggestions? I want that kind of overwound single coil sound. Think hum cancelling Texas Special. Oh yeah, rosewood fretboard.

In the past I used Hs-2 dimarzios, but want something in the Seymour line. I want another Desert Island Strat as I have a country gig coming up in June in Tn.

Thanks,

Al

Thanks guys. Will check it out. This is for a future project as I am doing paint on an '85 Barretta that I got for $25. But will be jumping on the strat before the Country gig.

Thanks again & Have a Great Weekend,

Al

Re: Hum cancelling single coil

Just checked out the demo on the STKS7 and can only say thanks. These are DEFINITELY going in the Strat before the June show. Oh yeah, and what a great freakin' soulful song for the demo. Great playing. I don't know if I was more entertained by the tone, or that beautiful instrumental.

Thanks again.

Not sure which pups are in her guitar, but Jess Lewis definitely has a hot stack plus.

Just to tag onto this post, if one wanted the Vintage Hot Stack Plus in the neck and Classic Stack Plus in the middle, would a Custom SP or Hot SP pair better in the bridge?
