Humbucker for use w/ Antiquity "Surf"

I have a customer with an Ernie Ball H/S/S guitar. His style is 60's Surf type music so I suggested the "Surfs" or Alnico II Pro's for the neck and middle but wasn't sure what would be a good match for the bridge Humbucker. I am thinking Alnico II Pro there as well but wasn't sure.

Anybody have some input for me?

A '59 would be a great place to start (as would the APH), and should balance well with the surfers.

The 59 Bridge is the cure all for most applications(As you already knew)..

Agreed, the "59" is the other obvious choice. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing some hot setup!! :-)

I'd like to see Seymour make the Jazz Neck as a bridge Trembucker. According to Seymour, that is actually the pickup with the output that balances "best" with vintage output Strat pickups.

That does make all kinds of sense Lew....I read your very excellent suggestions to Evan and Seymour on your other posting..

Ya know, I was wondering about a Jazz bridge in this setup but never thought about using the neck.

I also realized something else tonight I never noticed before. Duncan does not list an Alnico II Pro Trembucker in their catalog. So, for PAF type Trembuckers you are limited the 59 or perhaps the Pearly Gates.
