Humbucker in strat bridge is lopsided

The side of the humbucker with the logo on it is always lower than the other side. I tried to adjust the height of it while pressing down on the higher side, but I can't get it even. What does that mean? It's a JB trembucker.

Heres a trick I used: Put foam under the lower side. Worked on my peavey with a slightly tapered mounting ring.

Do you know if it's because it's a trembucker or does that happen with regular humbuckers as well?

Re: Humbucker in strat bridge is lopsided

it's just because the wire in there is pushing or pulling on the humbucker (from the bottom). Seth Lover wasn't a ME (mechanical engineer)

Try a softer spring. It might be binding if you are compressing it too hard

I tried moving the wiring around and it helped even the pickup out a little bit, but man...getting those springs and screws back on the pickup was a huge pain. I'm not doing that again lol. I didn't have any foam, so I tried putting some paper in there and that turned into a disaster because it kept on moving.
