Humbucker or Trembucker?

Hello everyone. This is my first post and I'm glad to be part of this forum. I look forward to all the useful information. So as the title states I'm looking to replace the bridge p/u in my Strat style ESP/LTD. I'm not much of a "Floyd" guy and I always thought you go with a trembucker with a Floyd Rose. So I measured the distance from each E string and it's 2". So does that mean humbucker? Also, I can't decide between a JB or a Duncan Custom. The body wood is Alder w/ maple neck just as a typical Strat. And can I leave the stock pots in the guitar? Thanks for the help.

Go for the JB trembucker if u want serious rock tones
but if u want a little less output,go for the Duncan Custom trembucker

btw,
i've seen tht guitar at my local shop,
how does it sound like? i only tried the singles coil version of it

It sounds really good despite the stock p/u. Actually I didn't really feel that I had to change the stock p/u's but I'm a huge Duncan fan especially the JB model and I want to try something new aside from the JB and Duncan Distortion that are in all my guitars already.. So even though there's only 2" between the e strings I still need a Trembucker?

Does the stock pickup line up pretty well? If so, measure it from the center of the low-E pole piece to the center of the high-E pole piece.

Using that info, you can pick which one to get. Humbuckers have 48mm (1.92") spacing, and Trembuckers have 52mm (2.08") spacing.

Thanks DMyers77! I put my tape measure at the center of the 1st and 6th pole and it measures a hair over 2" so I guess I'm getting a Trembucker. I'm glad I asked you guys for help. Thanks again!
