Humbucker quest?

I'm looking for a passive humbucker for my schecter c1, mahogany body rosewood neck.

I'm looking for something with super definition, tight and not super gainy, good response to pick attack, also good for solos.

Someting for rock and metal.

what pickup it will be?

Re: Humbucker quest?

jazz bridge? its all those things you mention but not usually used for rock or metal but it riffs like a beast with the right amp

I wonder what a Pegasus would sound like with a screw/ hex coil setup?

You just described the Screamin Demon. Super articulate even at stoopid gain levels.

Welcome to the forum!

A vote for the Pegasus, if you use lowered tunings for heavier music. I agree with the Jazz bridge if you do standard tuning, and don't play progressive metal with serious amounts of gain.

Re: Humbucker quest?

Thanks everyone.

Wich one of the options presented above will be more modern oriented, more tight and not so bright , with good dynamics and definition?

Based on my experience I would say trust Jeremy to make the call. He has given me some very good advice in the past and has proven, to me at least, he really knows his stuff. Frankf is another guy you can trust but he doesn't seem to be involved with this thread.
