I am building a guitar with HSS configuration, and a mahogany body. I play modern blues, so the sound I am after is crunchy, mildly overdriven, vintage, lots of character.
I am set on the Vintage Hot Stack Plus STK-S7 in both the neck and middle positions, as I have used them in another guitar and they sound great. What humbucker would be good in the bridge?
The STK-S7 is moderately hot so I don't know if a vintage output humbucker would keep up. I want the bridge to be a similar output volume to the neck and bridge. I am also happy to hear any suggestions outside of the Seymour Duncan range.
Thanks in advance!
