Humbuckers for Strat

I am thinking about putting the hotrodded humbucker set (Jazz-Neck JB-Bridge) in my American Deluxe Strat. Just wondering what you all think, or have any other suggestions. Thanks

Well there are a few things to ask first. What kind of a tone are you going for? While its a very versatile set, depending on your tastes there may be better choices.

Well i play mostly rock. Tool, Nirvana, Incubus etc, and a some metal. Oh and im looking for a nice smooth high gain distortion with lot's of mids.

If it's mids you're looking for, the custom custom will be fantastic. I had it in a strat for a while, and while it was too hot for the singles in the neck and middle, it rocked as a standalone pickup. Just throw some hex screws in the screw coil on the wound strings, and it's something else. And smooth? You bet your ass it is. Also, you might want to consider the APH-1n for the neck position. That's what I would reccomend for smooth with mids.
