I've routed several bodies before, this a Warmoth Strat I built so it's no big deal. Agreed though, I wouldn't do it to a classic Fender.

There is just something about an Ash Strat I like.

This is also one of my favorite finishes on any guitar. Gorgeous.

I'd keep it with single coil sized pickups but a nickel covered humbuckers would also look great on it...

I was going to buy a Gibson SG when I stumbled upon this guitar. I've been looking for a Sienna Sunburst for under $800 for a long time... so I took my SG money and bought this instead with the intention of using humbuckers.
