imo, i very much prefer the 85 in the bridge and 81 in the neck. they balance better tonally. not sure why zw actually uses the 81 in the bridge and 85 in the neck though.

I've emailed them about it, I'm dying for a 707 in 6 string form. The pickup just has so much growl and low end raunch, it's like the Bogner of pickups.

That said, I'm most likely going to just route out my 6 string for one and throw it in.
