hey guys....well i bought a used JB the other day...he said he pulled it from his old Kramer. he said it was a trembucker and sounded great in his axe.

i just measued the pole spacing and its just the standard one. i have a Floyd Trem..will this still work? or will it sound like crap?

im guessing it was made before they build the trembucker? Its got a JBJ sticker on the back.

thanks

It will still work. Rarely does the spacing matter w/ duncan pickups. It's more of a cosmetic thing. If you had a standard spaced DMZ w/ a floyd, you'd probably have a little drop out.

Slap it in and rock out.

Yeah, I'm REALLY picky about the sound of my guitars and I've never been able to tell a difference, so I think you're good to go.

Plus, a lot of people really like those older model JB pickups, you might've gotten a really sweet pickup there! I just like the JB's period. They rock!

It doesn't matter much on bridge pickups. (And ultimately doesn't matter on necks either because the spacing there is a little tighter and more uniform anyway, regardless of the spacing atthe bridge.)

Don't go by what it looks like, only by what it SOUNDS like.

from my experience there is no difference..it's mostly cosmetic..
