Its tuned for phin guitar playing right now (E,a,e)
You can tune it anyway you want though.
22" scale
mahogany body
maple neck
ebony fingerboard
bone nut
jumbo ss frets
pearl dots
gotoh tuners
hot rails pickup
string through body


next to a normal sized strat (knockoff)

I havent done many sound samples yet. This was done before I put finish on it. I was using heavier strings and had it tuned GCG

It’s a phin with all the frets.
Balalaika has two nylon strings and one steel, and is much shorter scale.
Anything’s possible though, if you don’t pay attention to the rules.

Doesn’t need one. Hardly any tension with 27, 17, 13.
Relief was sanded into the barrel before I glued the fingerboard on.
