I built this

Imperator of Indignation
This circuit is based on the OMFUG Fuzz. I didn't use the Manhattan wiring method. I used point to point wiring on a turretboard. It's a messy layout but it works very well. It pisses me off when I build something that I think sounds cool in a demo and mine sounds very different. Mine was very dark with severe blocking distortion and hum which strangled the output. The blocking distortion was caused by too much low frequency response below the audible range. Which makes me wonder how the demo was recorded or if the schematic/layout are correct? It took a lot of work to make it usable.

Modifications:
Lowered the pulldown resistor to 1 meg.
Lowered the input/output capacitors to .01uF.
Replaced the first 2N3904 with a higher gain PN3565 transistor.
Doubled the filter capacitor to 220uF.
Added a Schottky diode 1N5819 hard clipper to the output.
Added a 82k smoothing resistor and 32pF capacitor between the collector and base of the third transistor.
Added a 2.2uF bypass capacitor to the emitter of the third transistor for a treble boost.
Added a SPST switch with an asymmetric soft clipping circuit which is a 3.7v Zener and 1N916 Silicon diode.
Added an inductor/capacitor bass cut tone control.

The result is a snarly, fat, and aggressive growl. It originally had a glitchy attack and little sustain but I smoothed it out considerably. I was surprised that the Schottky diode hard clipper worked so well in this circuit. In other circuits there's too much volume loss but since this circuit has plenty of power it smooths and fattens things nicely. The SPST has a soft clipping circuit and the Zener diode clips the waveform at 3.7v which gives a sputtery and angry fuzz sound.

I built it in a Christmas tin and the yellow top knobs are the volume and tone controls. Since the tin was flimsy I didn't use a footswitch and used the white lighted on/off switch from my dead vaporizer instead. When I turn the knob to the right the green LED comes on where the third button would be.

nice

so the posted schema is the one you got from the website or the one you used?
The schematic and layout are my modified version. The OMFUG Fuzz is the front end of the DarkRadiator another pedal from Parasit Studios. That's where I got the schematic from.

Vaporizer would be a cool name for a pedal. Of course there's already a Vapor Trail reverb, from SD I think.
How about a Chemtrail pedal for the conspiracy cult?

I used the resistors and capacitors from the vaporizer to build a Harmonic Percolator clone that I call the Harmonic Vaporizer. I just need to find a case for it because the circuit is done.
