I can't get no relief

I had a Squire Strat i got on a trade.
Poor quality. It took all the muscle i had more than any other guitar in 45 years to turn the TR and get the neck straight.
And it still wasn't straight.
Got rid of it. Not worth the strings on it.
My advice : buy a Gibson.

While I agree with the sentiment, unfortunately Gibson doesn't make Mustangs :(

they do make that single coil Epi special atrocity
you can get a special with either:
Single cols
P90s
Humbuckers

just the bare minimum of wood to call it a guitar

I'm joking
I understand you want what you want

on the relief topic
I saw a video where Guitar Max stood on a skinny shredder neck
and it didnt break
and he's gained some weight lately

Actually, if the neck was that strong and resistant to change in curvature, I would consider that a very GOOD quality neck. As opposed to one as easy to bend as balsawood.

And if you had taken the advice of Dan Erlewine in his video (that I posted), you could have straightened that neck easily and saved a very good guitar.

Good advice to buy a Gibson instead of a Fender...then instead of having a strong neck that won't warp you could have a broken headstock.
