"I Could Die"

Another dance rock tune. I used Sylenth, Massive, Predator synths, Reason for drums and bass and Amplitube with the Poulin cabinet sims on the guitars. Any critiques welcome, it's a work in progress. I'll be adding little spice bits here and there, vocal effects etc.

I Could Die

Re: "I Could Die"

very cool

I dig how it sounds so busy and the fading between the speakers. Im a lil suprised how you decided to EQ the bassdrum - very punctual sounding, I woulda given bassdrum less presence/highs and more depth. synths sound really awesome, I like the grinding low frequency sounds.

very professional and well produced!

Cheers bro thanks man! The kick isn't really EQ'd much it's just an electronic drum sample from Reason's House drum kit. Dance music kicks are much different than acoustic kicks because they need to pump the power out of the 15" bass speakers in clubs.

Good track! You don't use soundcloud, do you? I think your tracks would find many listeners there.

Re: "I Could Die"

Thanks SS! Can you clue me into how you get listeners there? I'm not familiar with the site.
I'd invest some money and buy the lite or solo pack/version. If you upload a track then you can share it easily in the groups you are in. You can find groups where other musicians are already in or explore them yourself by just searching for "electronic" "ambient" whatsoever. Also it is possible to sell the tunes there but I'm not 100% how to do so..some musicians use a platform called beatport (or so) and if you have a label it shouldn't be a problem to sell the tracks this way on Soundcloud. Maybe google will help as well :)

Cool thanks! I'll check it out more - I just added a track and created my account. I had my label on Beatport but I didn't like the way we were treated, I only sell on iTunes right now since they are the biggest player.

Cool! Post your public site :) Then I can follow your page and I'm sure that some peeps of mine will check your page out.

Re: "I Could Die"

very cool man, reason is really awesome, I know NIN did one of their whole albums on it, great songwrighting.

Re: "I Could Die"

Way awesome....love the whole feel of it....sparse yet wide and deep!
Love those synths, a mix between Depeche and The Prodigy in one of their more mild settings:D
Great chorus.....I rather like this direction of yours as well!

The Prodigy would stomp on this with their steel toe boots! :) I wish I could do music like they did on Fat of The Land, what an awesome record. Glad you liked it though.
