Speaking of hats—- i went on a trip a couple months ago and brought my ibanez gio to the bus stop w/ me. While waiting for the bus in a pretty bad part of Philly, i suddenly remembered i was wearing my prs hat. Instantly, i became paranoid someone would see it and think i was lugging something valuable. Lol. I flipped my hat backwards while waiting for that bus

It’s pricy, but the Friedman Buxom Boost is flipping AMAZING.
I recently got one and I’m blown away at how good it it. It has tone controls that you can take out of the signal if you want. And the tight control give you lots of options with your low end. Not to mention that the boost is the juiciest I’ve heard. It’s like next level in the feel dept.
I got mine as an open box and I think I paid around $125. Which I though was pretty good.

Good luck finding a case that actually fits RIGHT. I've given up for now and am using one of the cheaper TKL Les Paul cases with a thin "pillow" made from plush fabric and batting, cut to fit the bottom of the case. That props the body up so the neck fits right in the neck cradle. Just a little fancier than the common method of a folded up T-shirt under the body (which drove me nuts).

Weird, just got off the phone with sam ash and they told me a gator les paul case would “fit it like glove.” I just emailed sweetwater. I’m sure they shoot straight and what will/won’t fit it

Please let me know how it works out if/when you get it. Just make sure that the neck sits flat in the cradle. If it sits up at an angle, then the lid will be exerting pressure on the neck when you close the case. I've found that the cases that are supposed to fit all Les Paul styles ... Gibson LP, Epiphone LP, LP Juniors, really don't perfectly fit the Gibson LP or the Junior. I don't own an Epiphone LP so maybe they fit them just right. They seem to be cases that are jacks of all trades, masters of none. I can tell you that the Gibson case that came with my Traditional and another case that I have that truly fits Gibson Les Pauls like a glove ... well neither fit the Junior. From a physical standpoint, it makes sense that the wouldn't. But I've never tried the Gator case.

Just got an email from sweetwater, they said the gator ones won’t fit it. I’m glad i checked with them. He’s currently looking into if an skb gig bag (like the ones i have for my ibanez’s but shaped for a les paul).... they’re gonna get back to me
