Just using a reamp box and my old Focusrite 2i2 Gen 1 I was able to capture the preamp section of my Bassbreaker 30R using the FX return of the amp. I plugged the ToneX One (the tiny one) into my ISP Stealth power amp into a 1x12 with a Neodimium Celestion then used an ABY pedal to do an AB test of the sound. I only had to do a tiny touch of eq, probably to compensate for difference in speakers but the thing sounds really really close
I don’t have a load box for now so I did not capture the power amp, but I cannot crank it here at home to get that extra part of the sound. But so far so good, it is a really good sound I would use at rehearsal next time and take just a pedalboard and a super lightweight cab.
Now I know this ToneX thing really works , I was having a hard time using the stock captures because I never used the real amps and those are not the kind of tone I wanted.
