Congrats on the deal! That is one hell of an amp for sure. I heard this guy in a music store jamming through one of these playing some sweet blues licks on it, and completely shredding it. Definitely a GREAT buy! I bet it's cheap because it's the discontinued 5:50. They added more features to it and then resold it as the 5:50+ but from what I understand, they are about the same tonally, so no worries there.

This amp may be out of my hands pretty quickly. I mean, I love it, I really love it, but if I can trade it for something even more awesome and/or valuable, I will, if for no other reason then to see how far I can make my $200 go. I already got a guy on CL that said he might be interested in trading me his pre-Peavy Budda Superdrive 30, and another that might want to trade me his PRS Custom 22 in... gasp... sparkly silver!

Yeah, it's the SW45. It has completely killed any Marshall-type amp GAS I have. Now the only reason I will get a Marshall type is if it's a crazy deal so I can flip it like this Mesa.

I dunno man, this thing is calling my name something fierce. I love PRSi and if someone offers me one I might not be able to turn it down.

Hopefully I have like 5 different people say that they want my amp and I can just choose the cream of the crop. That would be extremely gratifying.

"this thing" link is not working, but if it's a silver sparkle PRS, it's not as cool as any tube guitar amplifier, period.
