I don't know what I want!

"I don't know what I want!"

That's what pretty much every one of us has said at one point or another, and whether we all realize it or not, we still go through this dilemma.

Re: I don't know what I want!

Sadly there are no EVH gutiars in Poland.
And about Charvels... yes, they're available, somewhare like ~10 from the 80's and 90's :D Nothing from the last few years.

Don't knock those, the late '80s/early '90s was the first golden era for MIJ Charvels! They were probably considered a little TOO close to the more expensive Jackson models of the day by the people who had to justify why the Jacksons cost at least 2X as much. I totally dig the Charvel 650s (basically a Jackson Soloist with rosewood fretboard, tied for my #1 guitar), 475s (I have 2) and 750 archtopss (the Holy Grail of all MIJ Charvels, don't have one......YET).

I must say the MIJ "San Dimas" Charvels of the last 10 years are close to any they've ever made also, but are mass produced and more affordable. The only possible shortcoming IMO is the lack of a coil tap for the HH config for the best cleans, but that is easily fixed with a push-pull pot. Necks to die for (unbeatable), slightly fuller, heavier bodies than most Ibanez shredders (which also often have overly pencil then necks), and original Floyd Rose trems, plus the cool Strat head stock.

Then I must be blessed with an RG Premium whose weight is comparable to those of some Gibson Les Paul Studios... the neck is similar to a Charvel too, only slightly thinner and narrower.
