Then I test drove this beiste:

Not a bad price, and played very well. Bridge pickup was a little weird but other than that, I could see myself with one of these!

For a brief moment, I felt like Michael Schenker.

Re: I don't pine for too many guitars these days...

those blades on the pickups look huge.

Re: I don't pine for too many guitars these days...

A Japanese attempt to resemble the DiMarzio X2N, only uglier.

Re: I don't pine for too many guitars these days...

That Carvin 7 behind it looks badass.

I was never a flying V guy. They always looked silly on me.

The blades on that guitar look like they could be used to club baby seals.

Re: I don't pine for too many guitars these days...

Was it a bolt-neck, or a set/thru neck? If it's a bolt-on, that's a decent price. If it's a set neck, GO BACK AND BUY IT NOW!!!!! THose are top-notch guitars (other than the ugly shaped headstock) and if you don't dig the pups, you know what to do...

Re: I don't pine for too many guitars these days...

Those are MMK blade pickups on that Aria flying v!! Not a bad pickup just a little glassy sounding .I ended up changing mine for a SD/ PEARLY GATES pickup in the bridge of my RS KNIGHT WARRIOR.

They need more screws in that locking nut. :D

hehe - there are 3 screws and 6 fine tuners, which are super hard to turn due to their size and spacing. Pretty dumb design. I'd probably loosen the locking thing completely and just use the normal tuners.

Re: I don't pine for too many guitars these days...

So, does it have a pine body or what? I don't go around opening guitar threads with the word "pine" in the title for nothing, you know.
