I also swapped the HRW pickups for a set of Sheptone Tributes that I got in a trade. I installed a set of raw nickel covers on the Sheptones. I plan to recoup some of the costs of the guitar by selling the HRWs.

Yup. Much better.

But I like the poker chips. I put one on my 150C the day I bought it and took off the funky heritage pickguard.

How do you like the Sheptones? Big difference over the HRW's? I'v just got a Se heard great things about Sheptome's, but have yet to try them.

I haven't spent much time with them since I just installed them. They sound complex and really bring the overtones of the guitar out. It's a very rich sounding pickup. They are brighter than the HRWs. I had to turn the treble down on my amp to dial in the sound I wanted. But I really like them. FWIW, the HRWs are really, really nice sounding pickups too.
