Will be testing it out this weekend, got from zzounds.com
Its Fireburst with Gold hardware, supposed to be a blem so I saved 300 dollarieenees. not a scratch or anything wrong that I can see. I had a Les Paul Deluxe in 1975 when they cost 450.00 but I gave it up (raising 3 kids at the time..priorities) so now I get to replace my guitars.

You'll love those, some guys don't like the chambered body, but I like the lighter weight. They are still very nice guitars! Nice score!

I like those fireburst, I think they look real nice.

Congrats on the guitar bro! Enjoy and play it well.

Re: I got a New Les Paul Studio

I love it! I always wanted a Fireburst Les Paul. I had one ordered from MF 2 1/2 years ago and it kept getting backordered so i cancelled and bought the red w/ gold hardware at GC instead.

Congrats! How's it sound?

Re: I got a New Les Paul Studio

Hey friends! I didn't even notice it was chambered, sure it's lighter than I remember a Les Paul being, but it plays and sounds great.

Re: I got a New Les Paul Studio

I can't find any info to confirm that the Les Paul Studio is chambered... the Studio Lite is chambered, but I don't find any such description on the Gibson site or music store websites.

Not "chambered." When I think of a "chambered" guitar I think of a guitar purposefully hollowed out for tonal reasons. Most of the newer LPs have weight relief holes routed into the body, and if not for some guy placing one in an X-Ray machine no one would give two craps about the weight relief holes. Plain and simple, it's the knowledge of them being there that bugs people. The tonal impact is too subtle to care about.

Congrats on the new guitar, BTW.
