Well after a long weekend of playing the new Studio Les Paul the verdict is.....It's beautiful and sounds better every time I play. Action, intonation and sustain are perfect.
I haven't been able to play real loud with my Fender Super reverb, but I look forward to doing that soon. I can get the Carlos Santana and Bruce Conte (Tower of Power) tones.
One of the best guitar sounds I ever heard was hearing Bruce Conte's band Jump Street
where Bruce and another guitarist played Les Pauls through Super Reverbs. Their set was so good that I left right after and did not stay to see the headliner...Roy Buchanan.

PS: The other Guitarist in the Jump Street band was Coleman Head And the drummer was Harvey Hughes who I met in high school.
