I got in some parts today from WD

I ordered some parts last week for one of my guitars and im wondering what i should try first? I got 2X 250K pots, 2X 500K pots and 1X 1000k. Then i ordered some caps, .022 and .001

I took a 16k PAF and a vintage 59 and combined the coils to make a "unbucker EVH" kinda thing. Wich pot shoould i ttry first? 250K or the 1 meg?

I'd start with the 500K pots and the .022 caps ....

If you need brighter try the 1 meg pot and if you need warmer you an try the 250K pots.

Isnt it called an unbucker when you combine a high out put coil and a low output coil? a lower output vintage 59 and a hot PAF. I read thats what seymour called it.

If my guitar has 2 controls, do i replace them both with 250K to add the warmth? or can i just do the volume or tone?
