I got my CUSTOM shop pup in 6 days!

I posted on here a little while back about how I was unable to reach the custom shop. I'd left 3 messages and had no success. One of the members, Jeff I believe, sent me a message with MJ's email address. I sent her an email and received a response within the hour. Couldn't believe it. I ordered my pups custom wound by MJ herself, and got them in 5-6 days! Just goes to show you how important and useful these boards can actually be. Thanks to all you SD members I was able to get my custom pups, and before christmas! I'm going to install them right now. Brobucker (10k,A5,Reverse zebra, bridge). Slash AII (zebra, neck). Going into my 2001 Gibson Les Paul Standard premium plus. Honeyburst finish.

I've had nothing but great service from the custom shop. The longest wait I've ever had for a custom shop pickup was 2 weeks.

There's really no reason IMO to go after pickups outside SD.
They've got the formulas down 100%.

My favorite LP combo is the Brobucker/PGn. I'm sure the Brobucker/Slash APH is the best thing that's happened to your guitar life this year. Truth be told, Slash could stand to learn from your choice. The Brobucker is a superior pickup to the Slash APH bridge. I know the Jubilee tone well, and I'd rather hear a Brobucker than a Slash APH bridge. Both good, but the Bro wins.
