I Just got my Washburn HB 30 Back from the tech. It has the most beautiful sound. I can't describe it. I never tought It would sound like that. My teacher played it, some bluesy jazz and my son and I just stoud there with are mouths hanging open. It is a heck of a motivator practice harder. I am sure I won't be felling my finger tips tomorrow  :burnout:

Great...post some clips!

I have PAF clones in my 335 and it's a great thing.

Thanks Guys,

I would have to get someone to play it for me :laugh2:

I been at it only three Months . I am working pretty hard at it.

Can't wait until my Fender blues deluxe gets delivered It should sound pretty good through that.

I'm starting to feel that the lighter and more resonant the guitar, as a 335 would be, the more likely that a2 magnet pafs, like the Seths, Antiquitys or even the Custom Custom, are going to sound great in that guitar.

Congrats!

Know exactly what you mean been in the same position with my 335. There are few words that describe the sound - WOW is one of the best!

Send it over to me and I'll play it for you - of course it may take some time getting back to you!! It will sound lovely through your Blues as well, when it arrives - I like putting my Hamers through all of my Fender amps as they I sound schweeetttt..

I think the Seths are great in one of the semi- hollow bodied type guitars. I have them in my Hamer Artist Custom and I love the sounds that come out of it. It seems to suit the guitar very well and I think Hamer made the right decision in fitting them in there. They are not loud pups, but they are suitable for jazz/blues and can turn out some good rock licks.

how do seths sound in solidbodies?

Like Duane Allman's Les Paul...sweet! Like they say on the back of the box, Seth's are for players who are tired of all soup and no twang. They're warm and sweet but bouncey and alive too.

They'll do anything.

Here's a link http://www.legendarytones.com/ where you can look up some humbucker pickup reviews.

The first thing I thought of when I heard the first Seth Lover pickup was, "Man, this would sound great in a 335."

I take that back. Actually, that was the second thing. The first was, "Man, this sounds great in my Heritage 150!"

I'm glad you got THE TONE, Lou.
