Re: I hate to be a butthead, but PICS! Woohoo!

why would they make the gold tops like that? Looks cool anyway with the offset seam.

I would like to score a good les one day, i am married to my strat right now though, it would feel wrong to buy a les paul.

Yup, Scott's a Les Paul Junkie :laugh2:

Scott, i'm thinking, you own more LP's than that right? If i remember correctly you have a Goltop Reissue and an Ebony Standard a few years back am i right? Or did you let em go?

Traded the Ebony standard in on the 58 RI Les Paul. The Goldtop Standard never stayed long enough to really count. Sent it back.

If I remember, Jolly, isn't that like 1/4 of your total guitar collection?

I think including my basses I have like 28 or something. I just sold my Rickenbacker 330 last week. I have 7 Epiphones and I'd like to to sell probably 4-5 of them or so. I'd also like to sell one of my B.C. Rich's as well. I just need to sell the guitars I don't play anymore.

:rocket: :firing:

But seriously, I think I've worked one day this entire year....no kiddin

Re: I hate to be a butthead, but PICS! Woohoo!

I hate to say this, but instead of making one guitar a main guitar.....for the past couple years, I've just decided to treat all my guitars as equals and play a different one, everytime I walk out of my house to go play. At first, I thought I'd never sink into a groove with one, and always have a different sound, but I've found that I've learned to control the nuances of each instrument better than ever. My hands never get used to 1 or 2, so they're actually used to every neck, every tone, and every control layout. It makes going to practice or jamming with guys more fun when I'm getting to hear a different instrument, with different Duncans, all the time. It sure fine tunes your ear.
