The wife's rule has slipped up a bit. But, I'm not sure she knows that.
B2D, you either love the refin seam or you hate it. It's pretty much one way or the other. Considering what it is "supposed" to be, I love it. The damn thing is just one heck of a player. I'd have rather had a little off center, ala the one the ledzepp29 has to be honest. I think his looks better than mine in that regard. Depending on the angle, the top seam shows up or doesn't.
The cool thing is that when you are playing it, not that Iv'e played live anywhere in 6 months, but your arm pretty much covers the seam.
I do appreciate your opinion. Take an old Goldtop and refinish it in burst and this is what you get.

Hmm, those seams are a bit odd, not sure if thats good or bad but they are 3 very nice guitars.

Haha! Brand new and supposed to look like the old refinished R7's from yesteryear. Yeah, it defies logic, huh! :smack:
I get off on the look mostly because it's so unique. They were only about 30 of these made last year. And they sold for less than $2K. And, they're completely the same as the standard R7 in all other aspects.
