Please view this as NOT politically correct but what the hell!
Anything that gets more muso's out and playing is a good thing, the female gender can play as well males if they put in the effort. (This is an Oxy Moron and if you don't understand the phrase, get an education!)
A friend of mine has three daughters and a very vocally talented wife with keyboard experience. Eldest daughter acts/sings/plays bass and "When I feel the need Dad I'll get you to teach me guitar." Second daughter plays Tuba(!) that is almost as big as she is, must give her a copy of Lou Reed's "Good night Ladies" and the youngster, who is a pre-schooler, already plays harp.
The best bit about female performers is that when it gets hot and they take off their tops the view is more appealling!
p.s. Recent Australian artist Missy Higgins has just done a cover of the Skyhooks song "You Just Like me 'cause I'm Good in Bed" , tongue in whatever!
p.p.s. The televisions on and the CRAP Bananarama version of "Venus" is playing as background give me the original Shocking Blue!
