Eh? Man That era charvel have the cutaway around the neck plate. The access is great on them.

good to know, however still looks thick to me, whats the thickness from the back of the plate to the front of the fretboard?

About 1cm less than a strat i imagine.

I have done the headstock, now i need pups and parts....
