I have been there

Re: I have been there

wow

a complete lack of self-consciousness.

I'm kind of in awe

edit

I'm sort of picking up an Animal Collective thing from this, from the pacing and vocal arrangements, but **** it

who cares

this was great.

Re: I have been there

lol! Thanks Adam. AC is definitely a major influence but they are definitely one of my favorite bands, so it fits.

Thanks

Re: I have been there

You're getting more and more eclectic Marc. But also quite trippy. Soon you will personally exceed the bounds of reality... Careful old boy.

Re: I have been there

I think I just experienced a contact high.
That was awesome.
Loved the harmonies, and the guitar sounds. Reversing and delays and all that.
God, I feel like I'm critiquing a psychedelic-era Beatles track, but it's not all that Beatle-esque. It's just cool, and I don't hear a lot of that kind of sound. A bit AC-ish, but not ridiculously similar.

This track gets a solid 8.
I Have Been There
Marc Olberding
Forever.

(brownie points if you get the reference.)
