I sincerely apologize. I completely misunderstood your intention.
I am totally busted on Paganini-hope I got it this time.
I also really liked the layout of that Diablo SG and that is a very good point about making the tone a little more solid.
I can't stand the knob layout the way they normally come. I would have bought the one shown if it had been in front of me and on sale in nickel and the regular black headstock. Having said that, I bet the extra frets might off set some of the neck heavy problems by extending the rosewood further in to the body. I probably would not use the extra frets, but now that I see one the idea of weight balance and the cool layout of knobs is very inviting!
