I have trouble deciding whether to get Alternative 8 or Nazgul, please help me

The title says it all, I hope there are people who have tried at least one of those if not both.

What wood did the guitar have in which you put one of these?

What scale did the guitar have?

6, 7 or 8 strings in it?

What kind of amp did you play it through?

How did you like it? (Overall opinion)

Would you recommend me to try it on a basswood guitar? (ESP-ltd EC-50, which now has a JB in the bridge)

Other recommendations are welcome as well.

What kind of amp are you using? What kind of music? Either will sound great in basswood, but the Nazgul is more 'extremely EQd'. The Alt 8 is just plain louder, with more compression. Both are really for heavier music, so if that isn't your thing, there are probably other choices.
