I just got the Line6 Bass Pod XT Live

Yeah, I can't believe it. It's hard to get this baby in Canada because it's still so new, but good ol' ebay is always there I managed to try it at a store that had a single unit, but they sold it by the time I went in to get it.

Ina nutshell:

Should be awesome. I been waiting to get a good bass effects pedal for a while and after trying some others I came to the conclusion this one is the best I've played.

I can't wait.

Has anyone else tried this baby? Or even the Guitar version?

i own the guitar version, and never plug in without it, it's truly an awesome unit

I have the PodXT standard version for guitar, the bean one. Aren't they the same unit just in different form? It's a great unit, especially for the price it can't really be beat!

I have the PODxt bean. The PODxt Live is the same thing in a floorboard version, plus it includes the model packs. The bass PODxt Live is the bean on the floor, but with no extra models (there are no model packs for the bass yet AFAIK).

I think the Live version only comes with one of the three model packs.

You're right, it only has the FX Junkie pack. It also has the Variax digital guitar connector, which the bean does not.

Very cool, I didn't realize it had the variax input. That's a great feature on the Vetta II.

I use a Vetta II with the long floorboard which is essentially the same as the pod xt live just that the effects are build into the amp and not in the board. Great unit and lot's of fun if you own a variax and use it with the digital plug.
