I just sent in the order for my custom Agile!

I just sent in the order a little bit ago for my custom baritone guitar from Agile. I should get a quote pretty soon and if I can afford the deposit (50%), which I should be able to, I should have my guitar in about 5 months.

The specs are as follows:
Body: AB-3500 (Baritone superstrat style)
Headstock: Interseptor (Jackson...ish)

Body:
Mahogany body with 3/4" Tribal Maple cap.
Black binding on the front.
Transparent hot pink finish.
H-S-H pickups.
5 way pickup selector.
3 Volume knobs (black dome)
Black hardware.
Original Floyd Rose tremolo.
Seymour Duncan Blackouts.
Random single coil to be replaced later.

Neck:
28" Scale
5 Piece Maple/Walnut set neck.
24 Frets.
Rosewood fretboard.
Slim neck profile.
16" neck radius.
No inlays.
Black binding.
Headstock matches body.
Locking nut.
Black tuning pegs.

The blackouts will be going in a different guitar and will be being replaced with my typical Duncan PATB/Vintage Rails/PATB2 set. I ordered the blackouts for another guitar and for the battery clip which I will use for an onboard preamp.

Thoughts?

Not as low as you'd think, actually. It's actually going up from its B standard tuning to C standard. I went with a longer scale to get it even more tense. I loves me some tension. :D

You should go on kisekae or whatever that "make a guitar" site is and see if ya can't make a generic image close to what it'll look like. That might help you through these final weeks.

Photoshop got me through the first couple months. Now I just start at the picture on Rondomusic.com of the AB with duncans and sigh for about 15 minutes. That seems to make me feel a little better.

That's going to be badass! I really like this one http://www.rondomusic.com/product3192.html.

It's not something that I would personally play, but it just LOOKS so damn cool!

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of prices do they charge for customs?
The cost for this guitar (and case) was $1374.95. So, for the price of an Ibanez Prestige, you can get a custom Agile guitar. :D

It's usually the cost of a normal guitar +50% unless you're doing some drastic changes like I did.

I know a guy who uses Agile pretty much all of the time now. Very heavy music...'grindcore' I guess they call it. He's very happy with the quality of the Agile product and has about 4 of them now. He even has one of those crazy 8 string Agile guitars.

Check out a clip if you are into the 'heavies':

Good job. Mine arrived a couple of months later than originally quoted (march as opposed to late jan or feb), but for the money I paid (under AU$1k inc case and shipping), I'm very happy with it. I got generic Alnico5 pickups in it originally to keep the cost down (to avoid import taxes) so I'm replacing the bridge with a ToneZone off these forums, and either leaving the stock in the neck or replacing it with a P-Rails.

Maybe I should have put a Crazy 8 in it from what I'm reading.

Ya know, I wouldn't mind that much having to wait for another month or so. I'm kind of low on cash now. I'm happy to see your happy with yours.

In other news, I'm thinking I might keep the Blackouts in the baritone. What do you guys think?
