His is highly figured . not solid blue. Marty Friedman, if it was him, wanted to buy it from Jolly IIRC.

Yeah, metlking's Blue Class 5 Les Paul is spectacular!! i'd love to see all of his gear. He's got some classy guitars!!

You're thinking of my Peacock colored one. It wasn't Marty Friedman. The guy that runs his website was looking for a Peacock colored Les Paul similar to mine. He wasn't trying to buy mine or anything.

I like that Tele-Charvel!!
Me too. I play it alot. It sits next to me on the couch all of the time. It's what I always play when I'm watching TV.

Yeah, this is amazing!!

Any issues with the Carvin bass rig?? Im a carvin fan, but had one amp I was a problem child and makes me gunshy.

I just thought I'd throw in here that I play bass through a Carvin R600 head with a redline 2x10 cab and a redline 1x15 cab and have never had any problems with it whatsoever and that thing just has *the* bass tone I love. On jazz gigs and smaller shows I just take the 2x10 and never feel like I'm missing anything. It's a great rig and I highly recommend Carvin stuff.

Just finished playing this one for a bit. Damn, I've played a bunch of guitars today and I must say, I didn't play a single dog.

Anyone who thinks it kind of changes color depending on what type of light it's in is an absolute idiot.

Well thank you. Coming from you, I'll take that as a compliment.:)

Gorgeous stuff, love the LP's, especially the 335.

Thanks for sharing.

the tops on those pauls are stellar....no KILLER! The quilting on the green one in particular is absolutely amazing; there's a "swirling" quality that I don't think I've ever seen in a quilt. Don't ever let that one go

Thanks man. Yeah, they look kind of weird with their headstocks on them.;)

Thank you. Yeah, I've never seen another one like that Peacock one. Don't worry, I'll never sell it. Lucid asked me a few months ago how much it would take for me to sell it, and I told him I would never sell it.

Anyways, can't forget about the Jr's.

Where is the love for your White Falcon?!
There's some pics of it with my other semi hollowbodies.:)

I was just thinking the other day about you when I was playing mine, and wondering if you still had yours and were still enjoying it. I don't play mine that often. I want to keep it in pristine condition for the most part. I break it out for a couple of days every 3 months or so.

I must have missed those pictures the first time through. Just went back to page 2 to admire it. I have the same relationship with mine. It sits on it's own stand in the closet of my own bedroom (far and away from the rest of the gear). I love to play it, but I look at it as more of a piece of art than a playable instrument. It does sound spectacular with those TV Jones pickups in there when you put it in front of an amp.

It's really hard to capture the great craftsmanship and immaculate design in a photo, though. Pictures don't do the gold flake binding much justice.

Re: I Know You All Have Been Sick Of My Crappy Gear Pics From My Cell Phone

Well, I finally found the software/disc that goes with my digital camera/card reader. Now you can actually see what my guitars and stuff look like. I figured I'd take a few pics for yall. You can finally see (somewhat) what my ES-335 I got 1 1/2 months ago looks like.

. NICE PICS, cool gear jolly, what phone do you have ? & does the camera /card reader make the pics better ?

Thanks.

I just have some old cell phone that that takes crappy pics. I've had the phone for about 3-4 years or so. I took these new pics with my digital camera that I've had for probably 8 years. When I got a new computer about 4 years ago I never loaded the CD (I couldn't find it) into this computer so it could read the card reader for the compact flash card. Hopefully that made sense.
