I like big muffs and i cannot lie....

Re: I like big muffs and i cannot lie....

Hello Gibson 175. Tonight I am very lonely, so I thought I might add something to this. I have a "General Guitar Gadgets" triangle Muff put together by 'Montgomery Aplliances' from Alabama here in the States. He used all premium parts, meaning carbon Comp resistors and a bunch of other good junk. Ive never heard a real triangle muff, and Ive heard most of them sound amazing but that there are a few dogs. I hope mine gets in the ballpark of one of the good ones.

ive never heard a real ramshead or any of those vintage ones except on records. Ive only ever really used an NYC muff. I don't think it matters if its vintage perfect or not. They all sound epic in different ways. I belive the "dogs" are more to do with the fact that EH used all kinds of varying components back in the day. So its not like they have any special hard to find mojo like you find in germanium fuzz faces. Im sure yours will be awesome.
