I love the '90s, P-90s

I have a cheap les paul (knockoff) and I put a dimarzio x2n in the bridge and really love it there. The problem is that the stock neck pickup is way too quiet compared to the x2n.

I tried some p-90 guitars a few days ago and really loved that tone. So I wanted to know if anyone made a convincing HB sized p-90 that could be used with an x2n without the 14 db volume drop.

Or what about a dog ear? I can't find a pic of the bottom or side view of one of those. is the bottom flat? couldn't I just put a dog ear over the hole and screw through the polyon each side?

a bridge phat cat would keep up with the x2n but the tonal change might be very drastic
