I love this Fat stratocaster sound!

Re: I love this Fat stratocaster sound!

NICE F___IN' TONE!

How'd you do it? What are the pickups? How did the booster contribute to the tone? Please don't tell me I have to go spend $200 on one of those boosters.

You have a cool sound. It's great that this forum lets me hear talent like yours all the way from Italy delivered to my house here in Los Angeles!

That was some serious fat sound you got out of that thing!!!
Very woody and nice:D

I guess the GE7 lets me kill all the stuff I don't like in my amp and boost the stuff I need. ;)

The pickups are stock fender which I took from my 1982 Stratocaster. The booster gives the warmth (but there is some amp pre-amp distortion as well) and the GE7 boosts the right frequencies.

The Ac booster is a good pedal, but there are many others as well.

Yes, I never cease to me amazed by the power of internet. Its one of the best things that has ever happened to music.

thanks!

Thanks. I've always been a Larry fan, but I am really amazed with his pure tones he gets these days (Sapphire Blue cd).

thanks Stevo!
