Well... not exactly. I FINISHED twelve guitars, because I started some of them way, way back in 2021. Do we remember 2021? COVID was rampant, you guys had a president who didn't need a diaper, and life? life seemed fine at the time.

I prepared fretboards, tops, bodies, necks, but hadn't had the time to complete any of it. It took me a while to get it all together. Some ideas changed, but mostly, the ideas stayed put. 20251115_171250 - klein.webp

I'm not 10000% done. Some need backplates, others need a tweak of the nut. But all in all... this is it, folks.

After this, just seven more. I have for seven guitars wood, pickups, neck blanks, fretboards, but I have pickups for 11. I need to make choices and I hate doing that.

If this is my final collection, I'm okay with that.

nice work, beautiful guitars all around. i love that you have a sycamore top on that tele. i made a semi-hollow tele with a sycamore top as well, surprised more people dont use it since it looks great.

how are you doing the carve top LPs and teles? CNC?
First, I do a rabbet on the ledge so I know how tall the maple edge will be. Then the shelf for the neck angle. Then, if I'm feeling like it, chisels followed by sanders. Otherwise flap disk on an angle grinder and then the sanders. I use a 125mm mirka deros, 77mm mirka deros, and a pneumatic 77mm for the horn. I carve a top, with machines only, in 1.5hrs at most. With chisels, 5.
