I need a PRS Custom wiring diagram (5-way switch)

Hello everybody.
I really can't find anywhere a wiring diagram PRS Custom style to get these switching:

Position One: Bridge humbucker
Position Two: Bridge humbucker with neck singlecoil (outer coil), in parallel
Position Three: Bridge and neck humbuckers
Position Four: Neck singlecoil (outer coil) with bridge singlecoil (inner coil), in parallel
Position Five: Neck humbucker

There are really a lot of layouts and diagrams and combinations, but right this I can't find.
PRS web site show this page: https://www.prsguitars.com/documents/customs_2017.pdf But it's not so clear for me, I prefer to see a drawn layout.

Thanks for helping me! :)

That diagram on the PRS site is about the most straightforward diagram I've ever seen. You're gonna have a little trouble translating wire colors if you're not using PRS pickups, though.

Re: I need a PRS Custom wiring diagram (5-way switch)

I found the colors code of the wire of the PRS pickup.
Now I'm trying to read the PRS schematic, but the switch confuses me. Every "line" has 1 common pole and just 4 other lugs? Not 5 like other super switch?

Re: I need a PRS Custom wiring diagram (5-way switch)

the option you're asking for doesn't exist. (Bridge humbucker with neck single coil).
Which switch are you using?

Re: I need a PRS Custom wiring diagram (5-way switch)

I just want to know the wiring because I'm a lover of these stuffs. Actually, I'm waiting a PRS SE Custom 22 I bought a few days ago, but I don't want to modify or do anything for a long time to it, probably.

Anyway, I copied that selector configuration from the PRS web site, the PRS Custom 22, Core version. And I watched this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oncj9tzPJPo It's the first guitar tried. It explains very well the configuration.

Meanwhile, I think I understand how the switch selector by PRS works. I find different the splitting of the bridge pickup and the splitting of the neck pickup, but I guess it has sense, bridge uses inner coil (called slug side in the video) and neck uses outer coil (called single coil in the video).

Let me know if I'm right.

Re: I need a PRS Custom wiring diagram (5-way switch)

If your SE Custom 22 is like my SE 24, it’ll have a 3 way blade and a push/pull to split both pickups.

I’m thinking about setting mine so in one position, neck is split and bridge is series and the other vice Versa to get the combined tones your talking about.

Incidentally, my S2 Standard 22 has the 3 way push/pull setup, and when I installed a real HFS/VB set, I accidentally made the middle position out of phase. The kicker is it sounds awesome, so I’m thinking about using my super switch to do the setup in your diagram, and the push/pull for out of phase.

Re: I need a PRS Custom wiring diagram (5-way switch)

My SE custom (it's coming soon) is exactly like yours, with a 3-way blade switch and the tone push-pull to split the pickup.
Anyway, I guess the pickup combination Bridge humbucker + Neck single coil put the pickup in parallel like the most common combination, not in series.
In your S2 Standard probably you have hot and ground of one of the pickups inverted, this makes the pickups to sound, but those are in out of phase in combination.
I'm not sure you will find a wiring that allow the switching of the phase "out" and "in". Probably you can do it with a On-Off switch, for example a push-pull potentiometer.

Re: I need a PRS Custom wiring diagram (5-way switch)

You are correct about the S2.

Phase reversal is a super easy mod. Used the same switch as the coil split, and a couple jumper wires.
